Caeden arrived in Everem after being banished from her own country on accusations of murder. King Rently of Rosetta buys her as a birthday present for his son, the crowned prince, Asher. She is not at the palace for more than a day when Prince Asher falls in love with her. They are forced to marry immediately following King Rently's death, and after only a few short months of marriage, Asher, now the king, must leave his bride to fight an army from the mountains. The Pennecapians take the young king as a prisoner of war, and Caeden begins a journey to find her husband before it's too late for both him, and the great city that they rule.
Hannah Culbertson began writing at the ripe old age of four. It was a poem about her middle name. She found comfort in writing at the age of twelve when she began her first novel, and her freshman year of high school she began to write The Queen while sitting in her geometry class. She spent five wonderful years working on the first book in the series, and has successfully been able to put off turning into a grown up.
She was born November 1, 1988 in the town of Harrisonburg, Virginia, and has lived there her entire life. She now resides with her wonderful husband, Jordan, and they have begun a hopeful life there. She wants nothing more than to write, and live happily ever after until the end of her days. Because fairy tales have always been her weakness.
