Lao Tzu's Tao Teh Ching has been of interest to humanity for millennia, though most readers are left with curiosity and amazement. In this translation by contemporary Taoist Master Hua-Ching Ni, much is simplified for the English reader. More importantly, Hua-Ching Ni explains energetics, rendering Lao Tzu's writing more understandable. We are also given some of the same energetic practices that are used to attain this wisdom.

About the Author
Hua-Ching Ni is in the thirty-sixth generation of Chinese medical doctors and healers who have continued to pass down traditions of health and wisdom. Born in China in the early 1900s, he practiced with many masters, eventually moving to the United States. He and his sons founded Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the College of Tao, and the Tao of Wellness. Hua-Ching Ni has written more than fifty books and currently lives in China.
