Synopsis
This book is organized from a developmental perspective. At each stage of development, the child's issues are presented through his creative expressions and enacted symbolically through the repetition of themes, independently of his conscious awareness of them. As the child grows and matures, these troubling issues can be approached at new levels of understanding that may have eluded him previously. The therapist's job is to help find the reparative path by means of the creative process.
