About the Author
Joe Bovino is a writer, lawyer, and P90X pioneer.
More than four years ago, Joe took a chance and left his steady law job to pursue his dream of writing a book about something he loved-women from different cultures and subcultures. He made humor a priority because he needed a break from the seriousness of the legal profession and wanted to enjoy the creative process. And, realizing that most guys wouldn't read a wordy, long-winded book about women or relationships, he organized and illustrated it like a field guide to birds, with a series of short profiles instead of chapters. They say every author writes the book he wants to read but can't find in the bookstore. Well, Joe couldn't find a kick-ass field guide to "chicks" of the United States. Now, everyone can.
In addition to working as a lawyer for many years, Joe formerly served as an international consultant to agencies of the State of California and emerging technology companies. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in political and social thought from the University of Virginia, as well as a Law Degree and Master's Degree in international relations from the University of Southern California. He is still licensed to practice law in Florida and California.Joe was born and raised in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, lived in Miami, Florida for a while, and currently resides in Hollywood, California, where the chickspotting is as good as it gets.
