About the Author
Bev Doolittle was born and raised in California. She graduated from the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles. She is a fine-art phenomenon in the world of limited-edition prints, where her editions and their sell-out rate are unsurpassed in the industry. She and her publisher, Greenwich Workshop Press, have contributed over a million dollars in proceeds from sales of her prints to the National Wildlife Federation, the National Museum of the American Indian, the National Arbor Day Foundation, and, most recently, the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. Bev Doolittle's books include The Forest Has Eyes, The Earth Is My Mother, and The Art of Bev Doolittle.
Elise Maclay has collaborated on five books with Bev Doolittle, including The Forest Has Eyes and The Earth Is My Mother. Her poetry has appeared in Nature magazine, and she is the author of Approaching Autumn and Green Winter, two popular books of prose poems. Elise lives near the shore in Connecticut.
