About the Author
Maged Kadar is married with two sons. He grew up in Al-Hay, southern Iraq and, after the rise of Saddam Hussein in 1979, fled to Liverpool where he met his wife. A former London cab driver, he now teaches Arabic and Islamic culture to British troops in Germany.
