About the Author
Educated at Amherst College and Columbia University, Robert Ullian is a writer whose work has appeared in publications ranging from Esquire and Mademoiselle to the Boston Phoenix. A recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts grant in fiction, he has taught art and writing at Hampshire College and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and is the author of books on Venice, Bali, and Morocco as well as coauthor of Frommer’s Israel Past & Present.
