About the Author
James L. Hoffman is a freelance writer and North Carolina native. He is a former newspaper reporter and editor and currently works as director of marketing and public relations for Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden. Hoffman is also the author of Day Trips from Charlotte, published by Globe Pequot Press.
