About the Author
Born in 1945, Andrew Lawson's career in photography has been heavily influenced by his life-long interest in natural history and painting. A keen gardener himself, Andrew Lawson brings a specialist eye to the photography of plants and garden. He is sought after as a photographer by the leading gardeners and garden owners in Britain. His work frequently appears in magazines all over the world, however Andrew's main body of work is in books. The Lawson family live in Oxfordshire, England. Andrew's wife, Briony, is a sculptress and her carvings in stone and wood are placed outside in their garden which acts as an open-air art gallery.
