About the Author
Brent Zimmerman has had a lifelong passion for raising and caring for animals, and has specialized in purebred dairy goats for decades. His “animals first” philosophy and true passion for farming has landed him several guest appearances on Italy’s most popular food/farming television shows. He is an active member of local farmer's markets and opens his barn to numerous tour groups and school children in the hopes of continuing the welcome “know your farmer, know your food” movement. He is a native of Michigan, and lives in Tuscany, Italy, where he raises goats and makes artisanal cheese.
