Synopsis
Cathy and Joe Garcia-Prats would be remarkable if only for the fact that they have ten children, ages one to nineteen. Or because each of the children excels in scholastics as well as sports. But what impresses teachers and friends most about the boys is that all of the boys demonstrate good character -- they're polite, responsible, and compassionate. And yet the Garcia-Prats' methods for raising Tony, David, Chris, Joe Pat, Matthew, Mark, Tommy, Danny, Jamie and Timmy are grounded in simple principles that any parent can put to use in their own families.
The Garcia-Prats show the importance of:
- Love, commitment, and respect
- Positive parenting
- Belief in values
- Teaching by example
- Realistic high expectations
- Strong spiritual life
- Instilling a love of learning
- Family traditions
-Love, laughter, liberty, and limits
