About the Author
Gregory W. Fletcher has over 30 years of experience in the electrical field and has taught electrical wiring practices at the secondary level, apprentice level, and post-secondary level. He has been licensed, first as a Journeyman and then as a Master Electrician, since 1976. He is currently Department Chairman of the Trades and Technology Department and Director/Instructor of the Electrical Technology program at Kennebec Valley Community College. Mr. Fletcher holds an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Electrical Construction and Maintenance, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Technical Education, and a Master of Science Degree in Industrial Education. He is a member of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors and the National Fire Protection Association. He has taught photovoltaic system installation as part of the Electrical Technology program since 1995 and also has conducted workshops on photovoltaic system installation for electricians and engineers. Greg's program was the first of its kind in New England to become approved by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) to teach and then administer the Entry Level Photovoltaics Installer Exam.
