It also covers guides to foreign archives holding materials crucial to an understanding of U.S. history and extends beyond the continential United States to include archives in Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and other Trust Territories. Cutting across disciplines, this bibliography cites more than 2,000 titles from the humanities and the social and physical sciences.
