About the Author
Charles P. Pierce is a writer-at-large for Esquire and a regular contributor to National Public Radio. He previously has written for GQ, The Nation, the Boston Herald, and The Boston Phoenix. His work has been included in several anthologies and has also appeared in The Atlantic Monthly, The Village Voice, The New York Times Magazine, and The Boston Globe. A native of Massachusetts, he lives near Boston with his wife, Margaret Doris, a journalist, and their three children: Abraham, Brendan, and Molly. This is his first book.
