About the Author
Sean Bennett has an industry background with a Freightliner dealership in Sarnia, Ontario, and Mack Trucks Incorporated, Allentown, PA. This was followed by a teaching career as a corporate trainer for Mack Trucks and as faculty at Toronto's Centennial College. At Centennial College he was Program Coordinator of the Truck and Diesel Department. Over a twenty-year span at Centennial College, Bennett chaired a wide range of motive power curriculum development committees for the Province of Ontario, subsequently authored the curricula and was pivotal in the initiative to move college syllabi toward competency-based outcome models. Bennett has authored over twenty-five books dealing with diesel, truck, heavy equipment, and automotive technology, and he currently devotes all his time to technical writing and speaking engagements. He is an active member of the American Trucking Association's Technology and Maintenance Council (TMC), the Association of Diesel Specialists (ADS), the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), and the North American Council of Automotive Teachers (NACAT).
