About the Author
Kenneth Bernard lives with his wife and three children in New York City. He teaches at the Brooklyn Center of Long Island University. For his plays he has received Guggenheim, Rockefeller, and NY CAPS grants; for his fiction, NEA, NY CAPS, and NY Foundation for the Arts Grants; and for his poetry and Arvon Poetry Prize. His last book, The Maldives Chronicles, 1987, was a collection of short fiction. Early plays are collected in Night Club an Other Plays.
