About the Author
Jim Heimann is a graphic designer, writer, historian, and instructor at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. He is the author of numerous books on architecture, popular culture, and Hollywood history. Having traveled to Hawaii for decades and consumed many a mai tai, he has perfected a version of the hula all his own.
