"The Hundred Year Old Man..." is a wild ride across time, continents, and history. The narration alternates between the present (starting from the moment when Allan decides to ditch his own 100th birthday celebration) and the retelling of his exciting past (and the prominent role he played in nearly every major event of the twentieth century!). The unique band of misfits he meets along the way and Allan's conviction that every situation will somehow sort itself out makes for an unforgettable story that is nearly impossible to put down. The translation from the original Swedish is utterly readable. Enjoy!
