About the Author
Betty White’s award-winning career in television and film has included iconic roles on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and The Golden Girls. The president emerita of the Morris Animal Foundation, and a trustee since 1971, she received the American Veterinary Medical Association’s Humane Award in 1987. Since 1974 she has served on the board of the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association; she was a zoo commissioner for eight years. Betty lives in Brentwood, California, with her golden retriever, Pontiac.
