About the Author
Mary Koski, Ed.D., turns her enthusiasm and talent from education to writing award-winning children's books with the Impatient Pamela series. Dr. Koski received her Doctorate in Educational Administration from the University of South Dakota, Vermilion. She is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. Lori Collins [Buck] is Public Education Coordinator for Pinellas County, Florida, the only public educator in Florida specifically assigned to a 9-1-1 center. Her mission: reduce non-emergency calls and help people access emergency assistance using new technology (cell/cable/internet phones). With 26 years of life safety experience, Collins teaches at the National Fire Academy. Dan S. Brown earned his bachelors degree at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and has had paintings shown in Minneapolis galleries. Since starting his studio in 1994, the clientele for his illustrations includes Ford, Dairy Queen, Coca Cola, Green Mill, and the Special Olympics. Brown's talent and his love of children lead him to create whimsical characters.
