About the Author
Richard Herschlag was born and raised in New York City. A graduate of Princeton University with a degree in engineering, he has worked as an engineer for the city of New York for ten years, with the Parks Department, the Department of Sanitation, and the Manhattan Borough President's Office as well as for the prestigious consulting firm of Syska & Hennessy. After leaving the city's employ, he has worked on his own, doing freelance consulting and building inspections.
He and his wife, Sue, have a five-year-old daughter, Rachel.
