.|Japanese for Busy People: Kana Workbook Tape is a forty-minute audio cassette tape that provides essential listening materials to accompany the Kana Workbook text. Pronunciation drills help students identify the kana with the actual Japanese syllables that they represent. Practice dialogues and exercises fortify listening skills while encouraging students to write out the kana learned from the workbook. Used together, workbook and tape teach the pronunciation and configuration of the kana in tandem, forming a concise course for "busy" students who want to learn hiragana and katakana as effectively and possible in a limited amount of time.
The Kana Workbook Tape is a fully integrated component of the Japanese for Busy People series. All sentence patterns and vocabulary have been modeled after Lessons 1 through 10 or the best-selling Japanese for Busy People 1. As with all other audio tapes in the Japanese for Busy People series, only the highest quality of standard, natural, spoken Japanese has been recorded on the Kana Workbook Tape.

About the Author
THE ASSOCIATION FOR JAPANESE-LANGUATE TEACHING (AJALT) has been recognized as a nonprofit organization by the Ministry of Education since 1997. It was established to meet the practical needs of people who are not necessarily specialists on Japan but who wish to communicate effectively in Japanese. In 1992 the Association was awarded the Japan Foundation Special Prize.
