About the Author
Known by everyone in baseball as "Big Jim,"
Jim Ksicinski started working in the clubhouse as a teenager when the Braves were in Milwaukee and became visiting clubhouse manager in 1970 when the Seattle Pilots moved to Milwaukee and became the Brewers. He retired after the 1998 season.
Tom Flaherty covered baseball for more than 25 years as a sportswriter for the Wisconsin State Journal and the Milwaukee Journal.
