About the Author
John Van Hamersveld is a popular graphic designer and illustrator who was instrumental in the pop art and surf culture movements of the 1960s and 1970s. He has designed rock concert posters, album covers, corporate logos and signage, book covers, movie posters, and an official poster and 360-foot-long mural for the 1984 Olympic Games. He launched a product line called Post-Future in 1997, which builds upon his past imagery for the culture of the 21st century. He lives in Santa Monica, California.
