Synopses & Reviews
The old proverb, "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure," is just as applicable today as when first expressed by some long forgotten sage. Lathes and other modern precision tools must be "kept trim" if they are to give long, trouble-free service that is expected of them
Although the adjustments required to keep the lathe trim are comparatively simple and few, they are important and should not be neglected. And even though the lathe is rigidly constructed and will stand a certain amount of rough handling, it should be protected from unnecessary abuse.
