The residential Paradise projects are only a few metro stops from central Paris, but its a different world. Dorias father, the Beard, has headed back to Morocco, leaving Doria and her mother to cope. It seems that mektoub - their fate - has it in for them them but Doria will prove that the ‘projects are about more than rap, soccer and religious tension.
