About the Author
Pedro Prada: Pedro Prada (1959- ) is currently Cubas ambassador to El Salvador and the author of Island under Siege: The US Blockade against Cuba and numerous works in Spanish. As a journalist, he was a war correspondent in Nicaragua and Angola, for which he won several awards.
