Synopsis
The senseless slaughter of innocent Holy Men, on a remote Greek island, ushers in a reign of terror spawned by the charismatic madman, Apollyon. Apollyon quickly moves to seize control of the Mediterranean, the heart and future of the Great Powers of Europe. Apollyonas ultimate goal is to end the very existence of Christendom itself. Admiral Ivar, Lord Fyrie, in service to both King Louis XV of France and Pope Benedictus in Rome, rises in pledge to serve both masters by ending Apollyonas bid for world domination. Apollyonas rapid rise to power quickly overwhelms Ivaras limited resources, forcing him to make a desperate plea to enemies, both old and new. Ivar must rally men of courage to battle the substantial forces of Apollyon. Ivar must bring time-worn adversaries together, to stop Apollyon before the Great Powers have crumbled into chaos. Ivar must embark on one last great crusade to save the world. He must conquer an enemy with unlimited resources, or die trying.
