About the Author
The Rev. Father Genelli, S.J., was a Jesuit priest and author of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. His Life of St. Ignatius of Loyola: A Popular Definitive Biography of the Founder of the Jesuits was originally published in 1917 through the Benziger Brothers, New York, with the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur. Besides providing a comprehensive account of the saint's life, Father Genelli also includes valuable information on the structure of the Jesuits as well as the nature of the Spiritual Exercises. The work was also printed by TAN in 1988.
