Synopses & Reviews
This Flash-based online course offers a hands-on learning experience to complement course and lab instruction, as well as traditional text material. Components include animations, graphic and interactive presentations of content, and interactive exercises that will appeal to multiple learning styles. The first two modules cover basic concepts. Each subsequent module covers nursing care for the most common or most important disorders affecting a particular body system, and includes in-depth case-based activity and case-based questions. This online course will reinforce key topics that instructors cover in depth in class, review important topics that instructors do not have time to cover in depth, and prepare students to care for patients in the clinical setting. Using a module-based format, Lippincott's Online Course for Brunner & Suddarth's Textbook of Medical-Surgical Nursing is meant to supplement a course textbook, but could also serve as a stand-alone learning system.
