Making an Angel is a comprehensive overview of the construction of The Angel of the North in Gateshead. Created by the internationally renowned sculptor Antony Gormley, the Angel is the biggest public sculpture in Britain. The book includes over 200 photographs, as well as critical essays, reviews and designs, which together explore the way in which, in combination with Arup's engineering skills, Gormley's creative vision enabled him to make an artistic statement on a remarkable scale.
