From 1887, the year in which Alfieri was born, until the establishment of OSCA plus the story of racing in the early Twenties with Isotta Fraschini and Diatto, right up the last Quattroporte model. It contains detailed technical lay-outs of all the models, the sequential chassis numbers of all cars manufactured each year, a description of the modifications introduced in the course of production and the exact number of examples built of each model.

About the Author
Involved for many years in the restoration of historical vehicles with a particular interest in vintage cars, Maurizio Tabucchi is consultant at ASI (Italian Vintage Automobile Association) and at RIAR (Alfa Romeo Italian Register). In 2002 he has also been appointed as President of the Technical Commission of the F.I.V.A. He works as a consultant for the major specialized Italian magazines.
