Pratchett does it again with another truly out-of-this-world blend of humor and fantasy. A witch-cum-opera singer wins a spot in the big city opera. But after a few rehearsals, she learns of a shadowy figure that haunts the opera house and likes to drop sandbags on the new talent. It's up to Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg to aid their fellow witch in distress before the fat lady sings her last rites.
It's "Phantom of the Opera", Discworld style, when an aspiring singer and part-time witch wins a part in the big city opera, and quickly learns of a shadowy figure haunting the house. Now her sorceress companions Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg must come to her aid, before the fat lady sings her last rites!
