About the Author
Kathi J. Kemper, MD, MPH, FAAP, is the Caryl J. Guth Chair for Complementary and Integrative Medicine and a director of the Program for Complementary and Integrative Medicine at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. She is the 2008 recipient of the inaugural leadership award from the Integrative Pediatrics Council and the founding chairperson of the Section for Complementary and Integrative Medicine of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is the author of The Holistic Pediatrician and has provided commentary on holistic, integrative, and complementary therapies for the media, including ABC News, Parenting magazine, and USA Today. She lives in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
