area of jewellery making. Designed like a 'tasting menu', this book
will help beginner jewellers learn and adapt a wide range of techniques
and skills to various types of materials through a series of making
sequences, and learn how to incorporate these within their own designs.

About the Author
Joanne Haywood has been a teacher in the field of Art and Design since
2002. She teaches a range of subjects including jewellery design, life
drawing, textiles, fashion and 3D design. Joanne is also a studio
jeweller and her work has been shown in a number of galleries and
exhibitions internationally. She has been featured in several books for
both her jewellery and her textiles, and was a finalist in the
Textile Directory Design Awards 2007.
