AUTHOR BIO: Photographer Gary Geiger has lived in Carmel since 1974, where he photographs everything from landscapes to portraits. MONTEREY PENINSULA is his second book with Graphic Arts Center Publishing(r).
Author Thom Akeman is a veteran journalist who calls Monterey his home. He has been on the staffs of six daily newspapers across the country. MONTEREY PENINSULA is his third book.

About the Author
Geiger is a California native, and has been living on the Monterey Peninsula for more than 25 years, working as a professional photographer. He received his B.S. degree from the Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, California. He has been used in publishing and interior design, as well as in exhibitions in fine art galleries.Akeman is a veteran journalist who calls the Monterey Peninsula home. He has worked for more than 30 years on the staffs of more than six daily newspapers across the country.
