Synopsis
Shiv's best mate, her younger brother Declan, died while they were on holiday in Greece, and Shiv doesn't know how to live anymore. She can only feel self-hatred, and tormenting guilt. Now she finds herself at the Korsakoff Clinic. Its therapy is unorthodox, often painful, and it's her last chance: the Clinic must help her find a way to live again. But first, their methods will make her face what really happened to Declan.

MARTYN BEDFORD has written five adult novels, including The Houdini Girl (Vintage), and an acclaimed YA novel, Flip. A former journalist, he teaches at Leeds Trinity University College. Martyn lives in West Yorkshire, England, with his wife and two daughters.
