The third daughter of seven in a magical bloodline, Abigail Drake was born with an affinity for water and a strong bond with dolphins. After she witnesses a murder, she flees right into the arms of Alexsandr Volstov. On the trail of stolen Russian antiquities, he's a relentless Interpol agent—and the man who once broke Abby's heart. But he isn't going to let the only woman he's ever loved slip away again.
"Brimming with exhilarating action sequences and sultry love scenes, Feehan's over-the-top paranormal romance, the newest in her Drake Sisters series (The Twilight Before Christmas, etc.), spotlights Abigail Drake, a witch who can communicate with dolphins. Set in quaint Sea Haven, Calif., the novel opens as Abigail, one of seven enigmatic sisters with magical powers, witnesses a brutal murder while swimming with her dolphins in Sea Haven harbor. In a scene that crackles with tension, Abigail swims to the rescue of a second man who, wounded, has fallen into the ocean making her the target of the Russian killers and some hungry sharks. The brush with danger leads her back into the arms of sexy Interpol agent Aleksandr Volstov, who broke her heart four years earlier. Together, Aleksandr and Abigail engage in sensual foreplay as he searches for those responsible for his partner's murder and the culprits involved in a smuggling ring. Though the passion and intrigue can grow overheated, Feehan's well-crafted characters like the sisters' quirky Aunt Carol, whose thirst for excitement and love of photography come together in the strangest moments ground the tale and give it some much-needed levity. About the Author
I live in the beautiful mountains of Lake County, California. I have always loved hiking, camping, rafting and being outdoors. I’ve also been involved in the martial arts for years—I hold a third degree black belt, instruct in a Korean karate system, and have taught self-defense. I am happily married to a romantic man who often inspires me with his thoughtfulness. We have a yours, mine, and ours family, claiming eleven children as our own. I have always written books, forcing my ten sisters to read every word, and now my daughters read and help me edit my manuscripts. It is fun to take all the research I have done on wild animals, raptors, vampires, weather, and volcanoes and put it together with romance.
