Thurlow, and Mr. John Dunning, on the Subject of Lord Clive's Jaghire: To Which Are Added, His Lordship's Letter to the Proprietors of East-India Stock, With the Answer of an Eminent Councellor to His Lordship's Letter; Likewise Addressed to the Proprietors on the Same Subject
I am alfo of Opinion that the court of Chancery here, has no power to determine this quefiion concern ing Lord Clive's demands, as the fame is not of a per fonal nature, but one for rents arifing out of lands in India (the royalty of which is by the bill, charged to have been granted by the late Nabob to the plaiitifi.
