About the Author
John D. Barrow received his doctorate in astrophysics at Oxford University in 1977, and has been an active researcher ever since. He has won many prestigious awards and has written more than three hundred research papers and articles, and twelve books. He is currently Professor of Mathematical Sciences at Cambridge University and Director of the Millenium Mathematics Project.
