About the Author
Mary Mackenzie is the executive director of the Flagstaff Center for Compassionate Communication, a nonprofit peacemaking organization that teaches transformational thinking, speaking, and listening skills to families, children, schools, corporations, and organizations. She is certified as a Compassionate Communication trainer through the International Center for Nonviolent Communication. She lives in Flagstaff, Arizona.
