About the Author Peter Morgan has written some 25 books on Porsche and these have been translated into at least seven languages. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering and is trained in the automotive industry. He has written for publication since his teenage years and writes for motoring magazines worldwide. He has an expansive technical and historical knowledge of Porsche and runs an independent Porsche buyer’s consultancy. He is a member of the Guild of Motoring Writers (GB) and an honorary member of the Porsche Club Great Britain. About the Photographer John Colley started his photographic career at Rolls Royce Aero Engines, moving into general advertising work before going freelance in the early 1970s. A keen motorist, competing in club-level speed and race events in cars ranging from the Mini Cooper S to Formula Atlantic, he started photographing motorsport events and contributed to Autosport Magazine. Shooting the front cover for issue one of Classic and Sportscar in 1982 heralded a move to more motoring magazine and book feature work. In recent years, studio work has dominated John’s schedule, although he is retained by Goodwood to cover the annual Festival of Speed and Revival events

Peter Morgan has a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and trained in the automotive industry. He has written for publication since his teens and became Technical Editor of Porsche Post (the magazine of the Porsche Club Great Britain) in 1981. He was Editor from 1991 to 1994. His first Porsche book, Porsche 911 -- Purchase and DIY Restoration was published in 1987. To date, he has written 20 titles on all aspects of Porsche, including racing, and his books have been translated into seven languages.John Colley\u2019s photography has appeared in car magazines all over the world. Having trained as an industrial photographer with Rolls-Royce aero engines, he made his name initially as a freelance motor racing photographer. Porsche 911s are a passion of his.
