Synopses & Reviews
Using five mind-body techniques, youll learn to feel calmer before surgery, use 23-50% less pain medication and heal faster. Using visualization, the book shows how to turn worries about surgery into healing imagery. Youll also discover how to ask your family and friends to wrap you in a blanket of love during the half hour before surgery. Ideally, you will read the book and use the Relaxation/Healing tape one or two weeks before your operation. But if you have only one day before surgery, you can still benefit from using this easy to read book and calming audio tape. The Prepare for Surgery, Heal Faster program is offered by leading hospitals across the US including NYU Medical Center in New York and several Kaiser Permanente Hospitals in California.
