Excerpt from Proceedings of the Stockholders of the North Carolina Rail Road Co: At Their Thirty-Second Annual Meeting Held at Goldsboro, July 14, 1881
Of these all are good, most of them being secured by mortgage, ex cept the judgment against J. P. Jones, which we regard as wholly worth less, and recommend that the Trustee be allowed to deduct from the amount of his assets and drop from his account.
This will leave available assets, Amount due by N. H. D. Wilson, Total Bonds 1877 Bonds due in 1888, Total This leaves outstanding debt due on mortgage account.
