About the Author
Lorraine Nordmann is an experienced beauty therapist and lecturer. She is a senior tutor at Hugh Baird College, Liverpool and an experienced external verifier for the City and Guilds. Lorraine has consulted with HABIA (Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Authority) on the change in the syllabus requirements of the Beauty Therapy NVQs. Alex Zotos was born into the world of beauty. His mother; an internationally renowned model; opened her school Â"Elly LukasÂ", in 1954 when women were not given many opportunities to be outwardly confident. As Principal of Elly Lukas College, he has kept his finger on the industry pulse globally and contributed to the industry in a positive and entrepreneurial manner. Alex has been a member of the International Spa Association (USA) education committee, Vice Chairperson of CIDESCO Schools Australia and Member of the Curriculum Maintenance Managers Board.
