Synopsis
The hustle and bustle of Maker Day has taken hold of Wemmicksville and everyone has different opinion about what the holiday is all about. The mayor believes that it is about shopping, but Lucia says that the annual concert is the most important part--and the concert has better be perfect! The mayor's wife is concerned about her solo in the concert. Florence is sure that her flowers should be the center of attention. But when punchinello accidentally ruins the concert, Lucia learns a valuable lesson: Maker Day is about Eli, the Maker. And Eli shows her that sometimes the best gifts are imperfect. For families who find the busy holiday season a distraction from the real meaning of Christmas, this book is a refreshing reminder that Christmas is about Jesus.
