About the Author
Rosalie Franzese is a staff developer for grades K-2 in District 2 in New York City and a Reading-Recovery trained language-arts specialist. An Adjunct Instructor at the New York University School of education, she has 15 years of teaching experience in the New York City school system. As a part of the Distinguished Teacher program in New York she developed the successful programnow serving as a model for the districtdescribed in this book.
