Excerpt from Registers of Probate: For the County of Suffolk, Massachusetts, 1639-1799
AT the meetings1 of the Massachusetts Historical Society held in May, 1898, and March, 1900, I gave some account of the Recorders, Clerks, and Registers of Deeds for the County of Suffolk, beginning with the year 1639, when the office of Recorder was first created, and ending with the year 1900.
I purpose now to present the result of some researches con cerning 'the Suffolk Registry of Probate, and those who have administered it from the year 1639 to the year 1799.
