Now available in mass market, an exciting urban novel about a group of thieves that perfect the art of the jux, a special kind of heist, rising from a ragtag band of petty criminals to a secret society, called The Order.
As a poor kid growing up in Jamaica, Cat learned the way to get by was to get in with a crew. Starting out as a recruit running small jobs, Cat soon committed his first robbery and murder shortly before emigrating with his mother to the states. Years later, after trying to live the American Dream, Cat becomes the founder of The Order of Thieves, a secret society committed to performing a certain type of robbery, the jux. He assembles a group of five skilled criminals—Bandit, Ozzi, Prince, James, and Cloud—to help him pull off a string of heists. But after a jux goes bad, a member is killed, and the crew realizes they’ve been infiltrated by a cop and disbands to avoid arrest.
On the run, Cat finds his way to Miami and begins to immerse himself in the party scene filled with politicians, athletes, drug kingpins, and celebrities—and the stakes are higher than ever. Fueled by adrenaline, Cat reaches out to the crew for one last epic jux—but can he pull it off before everything comes crashing down?
