Synopses & Reviews
It’s Time to Kneel Down and Fight. When the battle gets tough, the tough keep fighting. That's the mark of a real warrior. He’s persistent instead of passive, a victor instead of a victim. He wrestles until he wins the war. For the Christian man the battle rages in unseen realms, and he's got to wield God’s mighty weapon for warfare. He’s got to pray. Instead of “Stand up and fight,” his war cry calls, “Kneel down and pray!” He understands that spiritual battles require godly tactics. Fight on Your Knees inspires and equips men like you to pray for families, churches, cities, and nations––and to guard and strengthen yourself against the enemy's onslaughts. This book compiles writings by fourteen men of various ethnic and professional backgrounds, Christian leaders such as Bill McCartney, Steve Shanklin, Ted Haggard, Dutch Sheets, and Dale Schlafer. Their words will challenge and encourage you to enlist in the growing army of intercessors. God is calling men to war through prayer, and you can join them. You can fight on your knees and win.

Synopsis
As a Christian woman, you yearn for intimacy with God. You long to know His presence, to be satisfied in heart and soul, but you don’t know how. You want to be obedient, but you need a higher motivation than simply choosing to do right.
Linda Dillow understands. And now in Satisfy My Thirsty Soul, she shares with you her lifelong discovery that both longings can be met—through worship.
True worship is both a specific act and a lifestyle. As you learn what it means to bow your knee (the act of worship), you’ll gain a renewed intimacy with God. And as you learn to bow your thoughts, words, work, attitudes, will, and even pain (the lifestyle of worship), you’ll be drawn into God’s holy and life-giving presence—the place where God will truly satisfy your thirsty soul.
